Before embarking on all the fun stuff, learn about some of the original inhabitants www.nosarawildlife.com and www.nicoyapeninsula.com/ostional As the turtles come to nest at the start of the last quarter of the moon phases, this will happen on/around November 28, 2010 and in the days afterwards. If there is interest, we will arrange a tour to Ostional to see this amazing feat of nature.
In the beginning of December, there will probably also be a Fiesta in Nosara with bull riding, horse show, dancing and good eatin’.
Finally, the Nosara area offers all kinds of activities:
- In and on the water – swimming, shell collecting, surfing, fishing
in the river or the ocean, and river tours with bird watching.
- Traversing the land on horse back or on an ATV (4-wheeler/quad)
- “Flying” in an “Ultra Light” or on a zip line
